Sidi Sufyan Syed

Of dual heritage but with a singularly confused soul, he embarked upon an earnest but lengthy search to alleviate the soul’s disquiet. By The Changer of Hearts he accepted Islam in the summer of 2000.

After graduating from Kingston and SOAS universities in social and political sciences he worked for a think tank in Washington DC. Returning to England he took up a number of positions, mainly in the field of substance misuse within the public sector.

In 2006 and 2007 he was blessed with the opportunity to live in Damascus where he studied Arabic at Abu Nour Institute and privately.

He is married and currently lives in Hounslow, he is pursuing an MSc in Economic History at the London School of Economics.

And success is from Allah alone.
